How To Write Hospital SOAP Notes
When you start your clinical rotations at the hospital it will become painfully clear that you have absolutely no idea how to write a note. You've written a grand total of about 10-20 bare bones notes during ILG or PCM and they were all "outpatient" style, and probably pretty weak anyway. This section is dedicated to teaching you how to write notes in an inpatient setting. These will all be written from the Internal Medicine perspective with a few correlations to surgery and specialties. As an added bonus I have also included a blurb on how to present a patient to your resident/attending to save you future embarassment.
