My Suzuki GS500E



        This was my very first bike. When I was 18 I thought it would be pretty cool to get a spotbike and cruise around town on it. I didn't have enough money really to get a car and pay for insurance so I figured a bike would be a lot cheaper. Ok, ok... so the original intention was to pick up chicks but you'll be pleased to know that after I rode the bike I was hooked on riding, not just to look cool but because its quite exhilarating. I really look foward any warm weather so I can pull my bike out and go for a ride. So anyway, I had read that a 500cc bike was good to start out on. I searched around and found this bike for sale and I went out and picked it up. It needed the carbs cleaned out but other than that it was in good shape. I didn't have anyone to teach me to ride so I basically just bought the bike and rode it. Yes, it did ge dropped a couple of times as I was learning the clutch but they were all either in a parking lot or from a dead stop. I never had to bail on the bike and I never had to lay it down while riding. I rode it around for two years and then sold it to finance my Camaro adventures, but it served its purpose. It got me started in the world of riding and its been fun ever since.
