GKE as you can see stands for Garbalosa Kinetic Engineering. I choose the name because I wanted something that would represent all that my site encompassed. The engineering side of the site is easy to see. I originally put up a webpage to share funny things that I had written and provide a link to another site about a band I was in at the time and the original music we had written. It quickly turned into a showcase for the modified cars that my friends and myself owned and worked on. Now it functions as a venue for me to share all my engineering projects whether it be automotive, musical, or visual. Now for the kinetic side. There are a few underlying themes that I have been interested in: Energy and Motion. Now you can see why kinetic is defined on the introduction page. Putting energy in motion, whether it is building an engine to run on the track, or editing a movie, its what this site is all about.

My name is Ryan Garbalosa. I'm 27 and currently a resident physician at Palmetto General Hosptial. This site is owned, operated, updated (or not), solely be myself and myself alone. For the past few years I've used free domains offered by AOL, yahoo, angelfire, and the like to share my movies, programs, car mods, and other funny or ridiculous things I came across. After a while of being shut down for excessive bandwith consumption and having my webspace reduced I decided it was about time to get my own domain. I like to program in straight html (as you may or may not have noticed) not because I'm exceptionally good at it but because I find "cheat" programs like MS Publisher too cumbersome to work with. I'm always open to suggestions with the site (as long as you don't suggest I take it down) and my email is readily available at the bottom of every main page. So with that being said...
